Pamela Anderson
This Christmas, Hollywood superstar PAMELA ANDERSON flies into the Liverpool Empire to play The Genie of the Lamp in the spectacular family pantomime, Aladdin.
Canal St Manchester has teamed up with the Liverpool Empire to make TWO lucky readers’ festive wishes come true as we offer you the chance to win ONE OF TWO pairs of tickets to see this spectacular Christmas show complete with a free programme each on Friday 10 December at 7pm.
This year the Liverpool Empire will once again host the North West’s top celebrity pantomime. Alongside Pamela, Aladdin will also star Liverpool favourite Les Dennis as the loveable Wishee Washee, Mark Moraghan (Holby City, Brookside, Celebrity Masterchef, Our Day Out) as evil Abanazar, Dani Rayner (Over the Rainbow) as Princess Jasmine, Pete Price (Radio City) as the Emperor and Liverpool-born newcomer Marc Mulcahey as Aladdin.
Pamela Anderson is best known for her role as CJ Parker in the iconic TV show Baywatch. She is now a mother, an activist for PETA, an entrepreneur and actress. Pamela has appeared in the movies Barb Wire and Borat and most recently was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars, the American version of Strictly Come Dancing. Now she is set to make all of Liverpool’s Christmas wishes come true!
Pamela Anderson said:
“I had a fantastic time performing in my very first pantomime last year in Wimbledon and I was thrilled to be invited to play the Genie once again. It will be a chance to have a lot of fun, to see some old friends and to make some new ones. In particular, I am very excited about spending some time in Liverpool – a city I have never visited before. I read about it being the European Capital of Culture for 2008 - and I am a Beatles fan of course! I am very excited –see you soon!”
The production will be sponsored by ROBINSONS for the second year running. The nation’s favourite family soft drink is supporting a national celebration of pantomime up and down the country and is delighted to be part of bringing the magic of Aladdin to the stage.
Aladdin runs for three weeks only from Friday 10 December 2010 – Sunday 2 January 2011.
