New management at The Goose

The Goose has always been a traditional community pub in the heart of Manchester's Village offering a wide selection of draught lagers, beers, wines and spirits served in a friendly and welcoming environment. Now under new management, they have recently begun to expand their range of craft and world beers, as well as single malt whiskey to ensure they have the perfect tipple for everyone.

Since a huge refurb in 2014 they have developed a fantastic regular customer base and welcome people of all ages and all walks of life who wish to enjoy themselves without judgment or pretension. They operate a safe and secure space for all members of our community to enjoy and express themselves freely without fear of prejudice. They also pride themselves on a personal, warm welcome with friendly staff.Pop in for a chat at the bar and get to know the new team there!

The Goose has always offered an excellent range of fresh food which  will continue and expand with new daily hot sandwich specials and a hog roast every Sunday. Food is served from 12 noon to 6pm with a new evening menu being launched from 6pm til close.

As the heart of the local community the aim is to offer something for everyone, with themed music nights during the week with the best 60/70s, 80's, 90's and motown tunes.

Sunday night is games night with all your favorites including Play Your Cards Right and Open the Box.

The last Thursday of each month they offer 'Stripped Bare' an acoustic night with numerous local artists performing a range of new and cover tunes between 7pm and 11pm – all are welcome and entry is free!

Ian Kelly and partner Phil are the new co owners, with Phil as the new GM.
