Liberty Festival cancelled
LGBT+ LIBERTY FESTIVAL CANCELLATION:
Given the terrible events in Manchester and London recently, after careful consideration we have decided not to proceed with the LGBT+ Liberty Festival at this time. We would like to thank everyone who has supported this idea from conception a month ago and to the performers and organisers who have given their time for free and supported us.
PLEASE NOTE: The ticketed events featured in the Festival will take place as planned and are unaffected by the cancellation. Please support A Queer Revue, Make a Scene and Never Going Underground @ People's History Museum and give them some love.
There is also a counter demo to the EDL in Piccadilly Gardens on Sunday 11th hosted by Lesbians and Gays Support the Migrants.
Here are further details as to how you can get involved:

We would like to extend our thoughts, wishes and love to everyone affected by the last 10 days.
However, some of the city’s best LGBT events and parties are still going ahead, including cabaret night A Queer Revue!, Manchester’s gay film club Make a Scene and pop-up charity disco, Love Party.
