Monster for an award

Monster for an award

Please recommend novelette 'Monster' for the James Tiptree Jr Award. It's for science fiction and fantasy that expands gender roles. 'Monster' is very intentionally feminist and queer.

Check out the lovely reviews and the book on amazon.

We are asking people to recommend the book on Twitter and FB, as every little helps, and it'd be nice to have a queer SF novelette with clear feminist themes winning something.

Young Enigma posted a little blog at their website about why people might want to support the book here: www.youngenigma.com/post/79545441043/recommendations-for-james-tiptree-jr-award. It includes a link to an essay which explains why and how the book was written, and the challenges that had to be overcome to avoid the casual misogyny of most fiction.
