LGBT life in Britain

WHAT ARE THE MEMORIES AND THINGS THAT HAVE DEFINED YOUR LGBT+ LIFE?

7Wonder productions, the company behind The People's History of Pop currently airing on BBC Four, is making a new two part BBC series looking at LGBT+ life in Britain from 1967 - 2016 and they need your help.

They are crowdsourcing photos, memories, film footage, historic documents, club flyers, outfits, protest banners, posters, music, diary entries and much more to help tell this important story. They want Manchester people, voices and stories to have pride of place in the series.

Do you have photos of your first boyfriend or girlfriend? The diary you wrote your 'coming out' experience in? The costume you wore to your first Pride? The banner you took on an anti Section 28 march? A dress you wore at the Flesh nights? Were you an extra on Queer as Folk?

If you have an item that defines your life as an LGBT+ person they would love to hear from you. Please email: history@7wonder.co.uk
