Joanna Lumley tours for the first time

We are delighted to report that Joanna Lumley is going on tour next year – yes, Patsy aka Joanna Lumley, is coming to a venue near you.The Lowry to be specific with 'Its all about me'

The Absolutely Fabulous star, with an enormous catelogue of roles behind her, is embarking on her first live tour as she brings out her biggest hits in a series of anecdotes from her glittering career to date.

Joanna will embark on a 30-date tour across the UK in autumn 2018 as she recalls "hilarious and interesting adventures from her incredible career spanning more than four decades", including "never heard" before stories.

She will talk about her career from the 1960s onwards and will be joined by friend and producer Clive Tulloh, who will field questions from the audience.

The tour will kick-off at Belfast's Waterfront Hall, and takes in some 30 different venues across the UK.

"The thought of this tour next year, travelling across the British Isles and Ireland, has completely taken over my waking hours," Joanna said.

"It's utterly thrilling to start planning the stories I can tell, and the rapture (and gratitude, to be fair) with which I shall greet the audiences.

"Nothing like this has come my way before, and I may have to be dragged off with a hook at the end of each show. Oh people! This is especially for you from me, with masses of love. I think it will be fabulous."
