Sparkle Trustee Jenny-Anne Bishop Awarded OBE in New Year’s Honours List
Sparkle are pleased to announce that trustee of Sparkle The National Transgender Charity Jenny-Anne Bishop has been awarded an OBE in the New Year’s Honours list.
Jenny-Anne works on several Equality Steering and Scrutiny groups. Coordinating TransForum Manchester and helps manage Unique, the largest Trans* support group in Wales provides daily engagement with the Trans* community.
She is also an organiser of TDOR in Manchester. A member of the Gender Dysphoria stakeholder team for the DoH / NHS England and the WHSSC partnership board in Wales, Jenny-Anne is also a lay pastoral leader and Board of Directors member of Manchester Metropolitan (LGBT) Church, a member of the Westminster Parliamentary Forum on Gender Identity, and the Welsh Strategic Equality Plan Board

We are also pleased to announce that Sparkle 11 will be taking place in the Heart of Manchester’s Gay Village again in Sackville Gardens on Saturday July 11th and Sunday 12th 2015 after the success of Sparkle 10 we have taken the decision that we will keep this 2 day format in the gardens.
