Frontrunners for Marathon

Frontrunners for Marathon

Sunday 29th April sees the first running of the Greater Manchester Marathon in 10 years. It seems this has fired up the mojo of many an MFR member, as a large number of people have decided
to take the plunge and run a marathon in their (adopted)
home town, many doing so for the first time.

To celebrate this, MFR have decided to mark this occasion by organising
cheerleading out and about on the course and also there will be a social
organised afterwards, to commemerate the popping of so many marathon cherries and to toast some no doubt heroic performances.

Please indicate on the wall wheather you are a) running the race or b) willing to join the cheerleading (pompoms not supplied). Details of cheerleading points on the course and the post race social will be communicated nearer the time.

For more details of the event itself. Please visit here.
