Fetish Knights - Soap legends star
Soap legends come together to star in EASTENDERS and HOLLYOAKS writer Rob Ellis' brand new stage comedy 'FETISH KNIGHTS'...
FETISH KNIGHTS opens on the 22nd August 2011 for an exclusive première run of just 3 days.
Glamorous CLAIRE KING - EMMERDALE's unsurpassed super-bitch 'Kim Tate' - will appear as powerful business-woman and reluctant mother, Pamela Heart, whilst BROOKSIDE legend 'Jimmy Corkhill’ - played by DEAN SULLIVAN, will create the role of renowned medical consultant, 'Kenneth Cadbury-Love'. CORONATION STREET's resident crimper 'Candice Stowe'; NIKKI SANDERSON, will play über-glam WAG and fiancée from hell, 'Julie Tunstall', in this comedy epic billed as "The Golden Girls meets Desperate Housewives"... Writer, ROB ELLIS will play self-obsessed narcissist Sean-John Parkinson, whilst ANTHONY CRANK will play barman Karl Jackson. The 10-strong cast boasts familiar names from stage and TV as well as 6 surprise recurring characters that frequent the bar...
Set in the fictional Manchester men-only bar, 'Associates', FETISH KNIGHTS is a classic situation comedy - in an extraordinary situation...
On a Manchester backstreet, away from the neon lights, hen parties and drag queens, is the secluded door that leads down to the basement bar, 'Associates'.
Associates bar is for the masculine men of Manchester; men who seek solace from the glitter of Canal Street. Tales and rumours of the seedy goings-on at Associates are legendary amongst the 'normal' people. The bar holds secrets indeed, but why are the regulars so protective of what goes on in the dark basement? And what would they do if word leaked out that they were in fact a little more concerned with 'quiche and Corrie' - than 'whips and chains?'
FETISH KNIGHTS delivers laugh-a-second humour, a razor-sharp script, instantly lovable characters, plenty of shocks and a twist you WON'T see coming!
The show runs from the 22nd until the 24th of August 2011 at 7.30pm, for an exclusive première run at the John Thaw Studio Theatre, The Martin Harris Centre, Oxford Road, Manchester, M13 9PL
Tickets are available from www.quaytickets.com - priced at £8 and £6 for concessions.
