Announces UK tour in October

Ellie Goulding has today announced she will play a tour of the UK in October. The tour, which takes in seven cities including a London show at Hammersmith Apollo, marks a welcome return to UK venues for Ellie who has spent much of 2013 touring internationally.

Goulding’s second album ‘Halcyon’ was released in September last year and has already achieved platinum status in the UK. The Hereford-born singer-songwriter - who recently featured on the Calvin Harris top 5 hit “I Need Your Love” - has now achieved total worldwide album sales of three million with single sales topping ten million.

The UK dates in October are:

• 3rd - SHEFFIELD O2 ACADEMY
• 4th - YORK BARBICAN
• 6th - WOLVERHAMPTON CIVIC HALL
• 7th - NEWCASTLE O2 ACADEMY
• 10th - CARDIFF UNIVERSITY
• 11th - MANCHESTER O2 APOLLO
• 16th - LONDON HAMMERSMITH APOLLO
