Dave Lynn at The Rem
Sunday Best at The REM Bar welcomes special guest drag legend DAVE LYNN for a special live performance on Sunday 22nd January at 5pm.
Dave Lynn – the 'drag queen of drag queens' is based in Brighton. He came to mainstream attention in the program Faking It where in a Bafta winning episode he mentored former naval petty officer Spence Bowdler into becoming a drag artist known as Britney Ferry. Dave has also had work in films such as a cameo in the feelgood movie, Beautiful Thing. On TV Dave gave Anne Robinson a run for her money on three special episodes of the BBC flagship quiz, The Weakest Link - where in one memorable moment he dished out some sound fashion advice on Anne's hair during his walk of shame. Dave's stage credits include Torch Song Trilogy, Rocky Horror and Dragula. He also appeared at The Brighton Comedy Festival in the '80's with Lily Savage and Katrina and the Boy in 'Whatever Happened to BabyJane'.
