‘COMING OUT’ WITH JAN AT THE FROG AND BUCKET THIS AUGUST
VFP Media are hosting a special screening of British lesbian-life documentary ‘Jan’s Coming Out’ at The Frog & Bucket on Wednesday 24 August at 7pm as part of Manchester Pride Fringe.
The film focuses on the life of a modern lesbian and emphasises the importance of being loud and proud; it is both a fun and up-lifting film with some important messages for those who may not be comfortable with their own sexuality.

‘Jan’s Coming Out’ features award winning writers, entertainers and entrepreneurs – all loud and proud – such as Stella Duffy, Zoe Lyons, Cathy DeBuono and Val McDermid.
Award winning stand-up comedienne Zoe Lyons, who is a part of the project, said: “It was an absolute pleasure to be part of Jan's ‘coming out’ journey and the resulting film is both funny and moving, a joy to watch."

Jackie Crozier, festival director of Manchester Pride, said: “I cannot wait to see ‘Jan’s Coming Out’, which I know is the feeling of many others here at Manchester Pride. We are delighted to welcome this event into Manchester Pride Fringe and encourage everyone who can to get down and see it. It’s a fantastic message lined with a few good laughs and smiles.”
