Co-op announce funds raised

Co-op announce funds raised

Our four food stores in Manchester City Centre sold over £11,000 worth of Big Weekend tickets for this year’s Manchester Pride event.

One of the only retailers to do so, The Co-operative made a commitment to give the compulsory £1 booking fee for each

ticket to our Charity of the Year Mencap & ENABLE Scotland. This means as a result of the sales we raised an impressive £500 for charity.

Thanks to all the staff in the branches for really being enthusiastic about selling the tickets and “priding” up your branches with bunting and posters. Now that’s a booking fee you don’t mind paying!
