Calling all Trans

Calling all Trans

Calling all Trans and Non Binary People! We are looking for people to join us in the Manchester Pride Parade 2018.

Following on from our dance workshop sessions with LGBT foundation, TransMCR and Hope Studios, we have been invited to join the Manchester Pride Parade 2018 on foot, representing trans and non binary people. We are putting together a very simple street jazz routine to repeat throughout the parade, suitable for absolute beginners and dance floor lovers alike.

If dancing isn't your thing we are looking for flag bearers too! Our theme will be the Trans Pride flag, with the option to parade in carnival butterfly wings in shades of blue and pink, or in giant top hats with flags. The ethos of our group is using dance for fun, fitness and self confidence, regardless of background or ability, welcoming trans and non-binary individuals to express themselves and keep fit!

We really hope you can join us as we are hoping for around 50 people to really bring an impact amidst all the floats, showing our pride and shouting about it!
