Blonde, Will Heard and Liberty X announced

With their big name collaborations, dance floor hits and old school pop classics these three acts are sure to keep the Manchester audience dancing right the way through the four day city centre event.

Blonde is the English deep house production duo from Bristol that’s responsible for some of dance music’s favourite tracks over the past three years. They have achieved acclaim with massive top 10 singles I Loved You and All Cried Out which was number four in the charts and number one in the dance charts. Plus the pair have collaborated with Craig David (Nothing Like This) and Imani Williams (Don’t Need Money) and were co-writers on the hit Rudimental / Ed Sheeran collaboration ‘Lay It All On Me’.

The Liberty X Girls recently wowed guests at the Manchester Pride Spring Benefit and now they are to perform on the Thomas Cook Airlines USA Stage at The Big Weekeend.  Michelle Heaton, Jessica Taylor and Kelli Young, the girls from the pop group which had a string of Top 5 singles including Brit Award-winning ‘Just A Little’, are this year touring as a trio with Atomic Kitten, B*Witched and S Club 3.

Singer songwriter Will Heard gained attention after collaborating with former supermodel and long-time friend Cara Delevingne in an acoustic version of "Sonnentanz (Sun Don't Shine)" which gained 7 million YouTube views in the first six months!  He’s recently supported Justin Bieber on his Purpose tour and is known for the 2015 collaboration with Rudimental - I Will for Love.

These latest additions will join Clean Bandit, Melanie C, X Factor winner Louisa Johnson and Saara Aalto on the billing for the event. Plus 5 After Midnight, Pixie Lott, Ultra Naté, Katrina and The Waves, Lucy Spraggan, Girli and Lisa Maffia. Plus The Big Weekend favourite and Manchester Pride patron Heather Peace will curate Heather Peace Presents on the Sackville Gardens Boutique Stage for a third year.

The organisers have also announced the full line-up for the Gaydio Dance Arena which will include Faithless, Simian Mobile Disco, Danny Howard, Ben Pearce and Shaun J Wright (Hercules And The Love Affair).

The Manchester Pride Festival, which is made up of The Big Weekend, The Manchester Pride Parade and The Candlelit Vigil, is an award-winning four day event celebrating LGBT life. The event takes place in August, with this year’s The Big Weekend set to run from Friday 25  - Monday 28 August and the parade on Saturday 26 August.

The Big Weekend tickets are priced £25.50 for weekend tickets, £16.50 for day tickets and children's tickets are also available.

Tickets provide guests with access to the event site, including the Main Arena, Sackville Gardens Boutique Stage, the Gaydio Dance Arena and the Expo and help Manchester Pride raise money for LGBT and HIV charities and organisations in Greater Manchester.
