August Village Markets

August Village Markets

The event is a family orientated food, drink and music festival. The aim of the festival is to promote positivity and understanding within the community, bringing everyone together in one place. It will also be raising funds for the Mind and The Christie charities.

The food and drink aspect of the festival includes the re-launch of ‘The Village market’ incorporating market stalls, artisan food and street food.

There will also be hot drinks and a range of soft drinks available via a bar. Alongside this will be a baking marquee hosting workshops and competitions. The music aspect of the festival will showcase local musicians and performers throughout the day.

The family aspect of the event means providing an enjoyable day out for both adults and children and includes face painting and a picnic area.
