On Monday 02nd May 2011 a new name launched on the club scene in Manchester kicking off a new era of clubbing for the city where the emphasis would always be the music, the people and most importantly: The feeling… And as the doors kicked open for the first event straight after Freakshow, Aftershock was ready to send tremors across the city: And the tremors have been well and truly felt ever since

Twelve months on and Aftershock is looking back at a year of chocca block parties, hi octane mayhem and a general feeling that THE FEELING is back for those that love their house music… A year in the making, Aftershock is proud to present THE ANNIVERSARY.

Not only are we celebrating 12 months of fully loaded Saturday night parties, we’re also lighting the candles and wrapping up some disco shaped gifts for the city’s sweetheart and the only shock in a frock worth knowing: Ms Anna Phylactic. So this is a double celebration you cannot afford to miss.

Expect a mind blowing Aftershock production, including some special surprises that will blast your senses right through to a later than opening time than normnal: We’re taking you right through to 7AM!!!!

Providing you will the all-important soundtrack to our biggest party to date is no less than four of our Aftershock residents, who will each in turn rock you til the sun comes up: And as we’re celebrating our birthday you can expect a mixture of Aftershock anthems old and new.
