Wicked

Wicked

When I first heard that Wicked was going to be touring the UK this Autumn firstly I jumped for joy and then my heart sank a little.

What if they watered it down? What if the cast wasnt as powerful as at the Apollo?

So Tuesday night soon came round and Felicia made our way to the theatre in a typical Manchester downpour however we were excited all the same, especially Felicia who even thogh she has performed many of the numbers before has never actually seen the show. I have to say that the hospitality at The Palace theatre was superb and they made us feel so welcome. We took our seats and the music began, the atmosphere was electric.

I can truly say that the show is as amazing and as massive as the London production, the costumes and set are stunning and the performaces were floorless.

The crowd went wild after ever number and there were plenty of gasps and sounds of amazement, from a fired up audience, as well as plenty of laughs too.

Nikki Davis - Jones and Emily Tierney stole the show with equally strong, assured, performances and Liam Doyle stole many a heart with his handsome good looks and wonderful performance.

The standing ovation at the end of the show sums up just how magical and enchanting this show is, and even brought a few teary moments for Felicia too.
