The Sound of Music

The Sound of Music

The Sound of Music at the Palace Theatre, Manchester, is a definite must see musical for all fans of this amazing tale.

Verity Rushworth plays Maria with such a magnificent singing voice that simply draws you in to the story. She plays Maria with such grace and humour, it makes Maria even more heart warming of a character. Jason Donovan, Captain Von Trapp, was an excellent male lead with a confidence you would expect from the Captain.

The Von Trapp children steal the show with their angelic singing, humour and innocence.

The production was very worthy of the standing ovation it received at the end due to the 5 star performance given by the cast and company. If you love the Sound of Music, you will love the musical even more and well worth going to see.

The show is running until the 17th September at the Palace - visit them...
