Ladyboys of Bangkok

Ladyboys of Bangkok

Nowadays, The Lady Boys of Bangkok have become a part of Manchester’s annual, entertainment  ‘staple diet’. Their performance last night showed us why.

Over the years the performance and staging have evolved. The sets are more lavish, as are the costumes but it is the strength of performance and enthusiasm that have made the biggest journeys. With tight choreography, the usual mix of humour and well known global music hits, the show enthralled its audience. A packed house enjoyed every minute.

There was an exceptional and truly amazing performance from a young gymnast. None of my group had ever seen anything like it. Even a former performer of gymnastics said that he had never seen such a breathtaking performance, very well worth seeing.

Throughout the evening we had Gaga, Rhianna and the Pussycat Dolls as well as the now obligatory YMCA to name just a few. High Art it is not but then, not everything needs to be. It is great fun, hugely entertaining and perfect antidote to the worries of everyday life.

The Show runs until Saturday 14th July.  To book, Click here.
