Josh Groban

Josh Groban

Josh Groban sings, plays the piano and drums, likes fish and chips and is an all round cheeky chappy.

Thursday, 13th October saw The Bridgewater Hall packed to the rafters with Josh’s adoring fans. With an age range of the very young to seniors, Josh, with the help of his band, performed a selection of songs from his latest album ‘Illuminations’ but of course, did not disappoint and also sang some old favourites, including, of course, ‘You Raise Me Up’.

His rapport with the audience was fabulous. He invited a couple and a lady with two young children, aged 5 and 8 up onto the stage. The adults were offered wine and there was milk for the kids. A huge thrill for them I’m sure.

Josh finished the night with a beautiful rendition of ‘Smile’. He was accompanied by two of his fabulous musicians.

As I have said so many times; if you weren’t there at The Bridgewater, you missed a treat. For what’s coming up and to book tickets, go to http://www.bridgewater-hall.co.uk
