Ballet Rambert

Ballet Rambert

WOW!!  Rapturous applause and cries of more, more, more after each of the three acts, aptly summed up the audience response to this opening night performance.

The choreography was spectacuar and the first act, set against a mirrored stage, presented a wonderful tranquil illusion of flowing water (visible from the Circle but not sure from the stalls) and the haunting Soprano voice in the background only added to the romance and drama of the production.

Throughout the Second Act, Roses had me sitting on the edge of my seat - a truly amazing and elegant dance.

Act three - What can I say. Seven glistening, muscular, males - fantastic, vibrant and very energetic! A visual feast for Hetrosexual women and i suppose,Gay men.

Overall a must see for all ages.A truly wonderful and entertaining performance.
